Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finishing Engineer to oversee and

manage all finishing activities at the construction site. The ideal candidate will ensure

high-quality finishes in line with design specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

This role requires strong coordination skills with various stakeholders including

contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Quality Control

? Supervise and execute finishing works such as plastering, painting, tiling, false

ceiling, joinery, flooring, waterproofing, and facade finishes.

? Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality

standards.

? Conduct regular inspections and snagging to identify and rectify defects.

? Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with safety and quality norms.

Project Coordination

? Coordinate with civil, MEP, and interior teams to ensure seamless integration of

finishing works.

? Liaise with architects, consultants, and vendors for timely approvals and

material deliveries.

? Prepare and maintain daily progress reports and update project timelines.

Material & Resource Management

? Verify and ensure the availability of required materials and tools on-site.

? Check material quality and ensure adherence to specifications.

? Optimize resource utilization and minimize wastage.

Documentation & Reporting

? Maintain records of inspections, approvals, and quality checks.

? Assist in preparing work schedules, bar charts, and progress reports.

? Support in preparing handover documentation and final snag lists.

Key Requirements

? Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

? 8+ years of experience in finishing works across residential, with exposure to

luxury or premium housing preferred.

? Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and standards.

? Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and other construction software.

? Understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures.

? Excellent attention to detail and aesthetic sense.

? Strong communication and team coordination abilities.

? Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
