Fine Jewellery CAD Designer

Diamond Jewellery Manufacturing Company.

Position Overview:

The Fine Jewellery CAD Designer is responsible for creating precise and detailed 3D CAD models for diamond and precious metal jewellery using advanced CAD software. The role requires a deep understanding of fine jewellery aesthetics, manufacturing feasibility, and gemstone setting techniques to ensure high-quality, production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop

3D CAD models

for fine diamond jewellery (rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, etc.) as per design briefs or sketches. Work closely with

designers,

to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability. Prepare

STL and render files

for client approvals and for CAM/printing. Review and modify CADs based on feedback from QC, production, and clients. Maintain proper

naming conventions, file management, and documentation

for all CAD projects. Stay updated with

new CAD tools, jewellery trends, and manufacturing innovations

.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in

MatrixGold / Rhino / JewelCAD / ZBrush / KeyShot

. Strong understanding of

fine jewellery design principles

-- proportions, stone setting, and finishing details.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design, CAD, or related field.

2-5 years

of experience in Fine Jewellery CAD design, preferably in a diamond jewellery manufacturing setup.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Accuracy of CAD files (dimension & structure). Timely completion of projects. Rework ratio and error reduction. Collaboration and communication with design and production teams.
