Software Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python in Odoo. Manage and optimize databases using PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries and designing

schemas.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to power customer-facing and internal services. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and UI/UX teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Ensure system performance, scalability, and security in high-traffic environments. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems. Proficiency in Python, including experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask. Expertise in PostgreSQL, including performance optimization and data modeling. Solid understanding of software engineering principles, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the logistics, freight, or supply chain technology sector. Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or similar). Exposure to front-end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
