Financial & Tax Controller

Seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial & Tax Controller to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a seasoned Financial & Tax Controller with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the NBFC/HFC sector. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Ind-AS reporting, possess extensive knowledge of GST law, and have a proven track record in handling various audits, including RBI inspections and Tax inspections. Additionally, experience in managing relationships with both Debt and Equity investors is essential.

Must Have:

- Familiarity with Ind-AS reporting

- Familiarity with GST law

- Experience of handling various audits including RBI inspections, Tax inspections, etc

- Experience of handling Investors (Debt + Equity)

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS reporting standards.

- Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure the company\'s financial practices align with current standards.

Tax Management:

- Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring adherence to GST laws and other relevant tax regulations.

- Work closely with external tax advisors to optimize the company\'s tax position and minimize tax liabilities.

Audit Management:

- Manage and coordinate various audits, including RBI inspections, Tax inspections, and any other regulatory audits.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Investor Relations:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with both Debt and Equity investors.

- Provide timely and accurate financial information to investors and address inquiries or concerns.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial and tax management, preferably in the NBFC/HFC sector.

- In-depth knowledge of Ind-AS reporting standards and GST laws.

- Proven experience in handling various audits, including RBI and Tax inspections.

- Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with investors.

- Professional qualifications such as CA/CPA are highly desirable.
