About Confederation Of Indian Textile Industry

Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) being one of the leading industry chambers of the textile and clothing sector of India, represents the major leading regional & industry associations and 18 major corporate members, thus, covering the entire textile value chain from farm to garments & made-ups and the textile machinery industry. CITI has signed MOUs with Thirteen major International Textile Associations for the promotion of textiles trade and investment. The cumulative annual turnover of CITI members is around USD 30 billion i.e. Rs.2 lakh crores plus.

CITI works as an interface between the Government of India and Industry. It helps the government in providing policy inputs to the government and simultaneously supports the textile and clothing sector by protecting their interests by bringing amendments to government policies.
