We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Financial Journalist

to join our editorial and research team. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in the stock market, business news, and financial storytelling. This role involves researching companies, tracking market developments, and producing high-quality content that helps readers understand market trends and investment insights.

Key responsibilities

1. Research listed companies, industries, and stock market developments.

2. Draft questionnaires for management interviews and analyst calls.

3. Reach out to companies for information on business performance and financials.

4. Assist in conducting interviews with company management, investor relations teams, and experts.

5. Write clear and engaging articles, summaries, and reports based on research and interactions.

6. Track corporate announcements, quarterly earnings, and market-moving events.

7. Support senior team members in preparing research notes and market coverage.

8. Ensure accuracy and credibility through fact-checking and validation of information.

9. Stay updated on financial markets, economic news, and business trends.

10. Proactively suggest story ideas and emerging themes in markets and companies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in journalism, economics, finance, business, or a related field.

2. Strong interest and knowledge of stock markets, finance, and business.

3. Excellent communication and writing skills in English.

4. Proactive, curious, and willing to learn with attention to detail.

5. Confidence to reach out to company representatives and ask relevant questions.

6. Ability to interpret basic financial information

7. Good time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

8. Internship or prior exposure to finance, business journalism, or research is a plus.
