Job Description

The Role
The role requires the Financial Insurance Analyst to carry out financial and non-financial research on
insurers; to interpret and analyse the findings of that research; and to deliver a summary of the analysis,
predominantly in written reports, but with some verbal presentation.
We are looking for people, at all levels of experience, with the attributes that would enable them to
develop the specialist knowledge and skills that the role requires.
The Financial Analyst will be trained to:
\xe2\x96\xa0 Analyse and interpret insurers\xe2\x80\x99 financial statements
\xe2\x96\xa0 Analyse the markets in which insurers operate, including building an understanding of the regulatory,
political, and economic forces that can impact an insurer
\xe2\x96\xa0 Produce written reports for clients of Willis Towers Watson, summarising research findings and
detailing key market developments
\xe2\x96\xa0 Produce reports, with recommendations, to be verbally presented to our internal Security Committee
\xe2\x96\xa0 Support clients through ad-hoc research into developing market issues
\xe2\x96\xa0 Work closely with the output of global credit rating agencies, building a strong understanding of the
rating agency methodology
Requirements
\xe2\x96\xa0 Very strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
\xe2\x96\xa0 An understanding of financial and accounting basics
\xe2\x96\xa0 A strong desire to learn and commit to an ongoing training process
\xe2\x96\xa0 Ability to quickly absorb, analyse, and act upon information
\xe2\x96\xa0 Numerically proficient
\xe2\x96\xa0 Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
\xe2\x96\xa0 Detail oriented, with ability to maintain accuracy
\xe2\x96\xa0 The ability to manage own workload by handling multiple priorities, whilst complying with deadlines
\xe2\x96\xa0 Work well independently and as an integral part of a team
\xe2\x96\xa0 IT literate \xe2\x80\x93 knowledge of Microsoft office packages needed MBA Finance. Post Graduate in Finance.
