Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial controlling, financial analysis, or a related field. Proven track record of managing financial data and controlling processes.

Job Summary:


The Financial Controller is responsible for planning, budgeting and controlling the costs pertinent to the Plant Operations with a view to enhance financial performance. This includes leveraging financial information and analysis to provide consultation to MBIL functions on business decisions, preparing business cases, performing product calculations, and managing project-based controlling. Additionally, the role involves finalizing and monitoring the business plan, and overseeing investment planning and related decisions. The role also involves extensive scenario planning for outsourcing operations including goods (local sourcing decisions) and services.


Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations and Performance Control: + Oversee and control MBIL plant operations and performance.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Financial Consultation: + Leverage financial information and analysis to provide consultation to MBIL functions on business decisions like outsourcing, buy vs. lease and situation dependent scenario mapping.
+ Offer insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
Business Case Preparation: + Prepare comprehensive business cases to support new projects and initiatives including local sourcing decisions, make or buy decisions and decision pertaining to outsourcing of services as well.
+ Evaluate financial viability and potential return on investment for proposed projects.
Product Calculations: + Perform detailed product calculations to determine cost structures and pricing strategies.
+ Analyze product profitability and provide recommendations for optimization.
Project-Based Controlling: + Manage project-based controlling activities, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of project costs and performance.
+ Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
Business Plan Finalization and Monitoring: + Finalize and monitor the business plan, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
+ Track progress against the business plan and provide regular updates to senior management.
Investment Planning and Decisions: + Oversee investment planning and decision-making processes.
+ Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management.
Risk and Crisis Management Coordination: + Consolidation of identified Financial Risks along with periodic reviews
+ Support to the Crisis Management Coordinator during crisis as applicable as per the Organization's Crisis Management Plan

Qualifikationen
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.


A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA) is highly recommended
