Job Description


Hi All,Key Responsibilities: * Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analysis to the Board of Directors and executive management team.
  • Develop annual budget, financial forecasts, and long term financial plans.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.
  • Monitor expenses, optimize costs, and improve financial efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax planning.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including liquidity, credit, and operational risks.
  • Implement effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Investment and Fundraising:
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to the executive team.
  • Oversee fundraising initiatives, including equity, debt financing, and banker relations.
  • Corporate Governance:
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders on financial matters.
  • Capital Management:
  • Capital Allocation: Evaluate investment opportunities, capital allocation decisions, and capital structure.
  • Fundraising and Financing: Manage debt, equity, and other financing activities.
  • Initial Public Offering (IPO) Management:
  • Spearhead the preparation and execution of the company's IPO.
  • Collaborate with investment banks, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure a successful IPO process.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage investor relations post-IPO.
  • Qualification and experience:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Experience band 18 years to 20 years of progressive financial experience, including a significant leadership role within construction/ project execution industry
  • Skill set:
  • Proficient in SAP with extensive experience in its application within the finance department
  • Proven experience in managing IPOs and public company financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
