Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modelling to provide accurate insights into the client's financial journey, and projections.
Variance Analysis:
Analyze actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures, identifying key drivers of variances and providing explanations to management.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
Market Research:
Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and economic factors that could impact the client's financial performance.
Cost Analysis:
Analyze costs and expenses of the client, recommending strategies for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flows, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the client's financial stability and adherence to financial commitments.
Financial Planning:
Contribute to the development of financial strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Coordination:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including insurance, operations, and business development to gather relevant data and insights for analysis.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree in Finance or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and using tools such as Microsoft Excel, financial software.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights.
Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Detail-oriented approach and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
