Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst is responsible for preparing financial analyses and reports to support department managers and business leaders. This role plays a key part in monthly and annual financial closures, variance analysis, audit coordination, and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The analyst also supports process improvements and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare monthly closing reports including Chart of Accounts (COA) submissions and Profit & Loss statements. Generate monthly MIS reports and conduct variance analysis. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data. Support quarterly board meeting submissions, schedules, and reporting packs.

Accounting & Compliance:

Oversee annual closure of books and coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. Monitor and review daily accounting transactions to ensure completeness and correctness. Support indirect tax compliance, primarily GST-related activities.

Business Partnering & Support:

Collaborate with business units to understand new requirements and drive improvements. Assist in development and implementation of process enhancements. Provide financial insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Special Projects:

Execute ad hoc financial projects and analysis as assigned. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Licensing:

May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
