Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for an internship opportunity in our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, working alongside senior professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports. Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes. Help manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation. Perform variance analysis to identify financial trends, deviations, and provide actionable insights. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Help ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Participate in ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by senior analysts and finance teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, NetSuite, MS Dynamics) is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment. Previous internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
