Job Description



$23bn! The total worldwide sales of Novartis Pharmaceuticals reported by your team. Your role ensures financial performance through strategic analysis and optimal resource allocation in order to reimagine medicine across 70 countries.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Review, analyze and evaluate contract language and manage contract set up in system and any changes including adding/deleting products/NDCs.
  • Analyze the customer utilization data and verify the rebate eligibility of Novartis product. Prepare quarterly trend analysis and performance analysis of Novartis Drug utilization and explain the key drivers of the change
  • Maintain an effective customer focus and proactively manage all aspects of account assignment while performing other related duties and ad-hoc responsibilities as required
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and SOX requirements. Identify risks to the department and organization and communicate to management. Identify any areas for improvement and provide actionable feedback.
  • Support CMCA team and Account Managers in implementing contracting strategies by discussing the product positioning in the PDLs and adjudicating claims accordingly.
  • Support Commercial & Medicare Contracting & Analysis (CMCA) team with insights on product and contract performance to develop efficient contracting strategies.
  • Partner with the Government Pricing team to ensure accurate pricing calculations related to Best Price.
  • Support the Government Pricing Compliance team for internal and external audits. Communicate with PBM, HMO and Aggregators to determine rebate eligibility of the contracted products/plans.
Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
  • MBA (Finance) / M.Com / CA / ICWA / any other equivalent degree
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years work experience required, preferably in the pharmaceutical or financial industries with financial analytics
