About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with the team to handle statutory audits along with the compliance of accounting standards, company law provisions, and other statutory compliance
2. Work with the team to handle routine audit functions & proper maintenance of accounting records
3. Prepare key deliverables like audit reports, etc./conduct variance analysis by performing an overall analytical review
4. Work on R&D accounting and run rate reporting
6. Support GST processes and income tax, and coordinate with practitioners/experts from time to time to comply
7. Closely interact with the client and internal teams (direct and indirect tax, audit, accounting) to discuss key audit procedures and conclusions
8. Get the financials cleared and coordinate with audit teams
9. Be involved in the planning of the audit approach including risk assessments, scoping and materiality related to statutory audit for clients following Ind AS or AS
10. Perform bookkeeping and general ledger functions
11. Prepare customer invoices with validation of customer purchase order
12. Manage vendor bills with validating POs issued to vendors
13. Interact with internal business managers for clarification
14. Compute and prepare tax returns related, TDS, GST
15. Reconcile financial discrepancies as they arise, after checking out the causes
for the same
