As the Financial Analytics professional in our Consumer & Community Banking, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

The Business Banking Financial Analytics team aims to support senior leadership, enabling business decisions. Finance team provides real-time insights to Business banking on Business Performance, Deposit Performance, Attrition behavior, intervention strategies, Investment decision, Investment decision and Analytics. The team is structured with dedicated CFO\'s or CFO support teams, with each product having its own on dedicated P&L and subsequent Balance sheet impacts. Team is called upon to deliver actionable financial insights on myriad of topics.

As a VP of the Financial Analytics team, you are responsible for partnering across the BB organization to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and insights on a variety of business scenarios. Teams support focus ranges from bespoke analysis, modelling capabilities, dashboard development along with managing standard reporting

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong team management experience. Lead a team of Analysts and Associates with varying level of experience.
• Leverage a wide range of data analysis, machine learning and statistical modeling tools and techniques to solve business problems that have an impact on areas such as loan and deposit pricing and profitability, consumer behavior, attrition intervention strategies. Use advanced quantitative techniques on large datasets to identify trends and patterns and derive actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing approaches with statistical methods to enable better business decision-making. Build and deploy prototype solutions to demonstrate ideas and proof of concept
• Effectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates, gaps/risks, roadblocks, findings, etc.) Develop visualization/ppt to summarize and communicate key findings to stakeholders. Work independently and collaboratively (as and when needed) to achieve the larger goal
• Create financial business cases supporting business initiatives. Work through data quality limitations, should be adept at making alternate strategy recommendations
• Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and generally provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
• Help design new reports and dashboards to deliver the financial results to senior management efficiently. Enhance controls and streamline processes, introduce automation where possible

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• PHD or Master\'s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or any quantitative field. CFA a strong plus.
• 10+ years\' experience in data science, statistics, or related fields preferably in the banking \\ consulting domain.
• Must have proficiency in coding (e.g., SQL, SAS, R, Python) and exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Teradata, AWS cloud, Hive).
• Deep understanding of advanced machine learning algorithms (e.g., Random Forest, SVM, XGBoost, Deep Neural Network - CNN and RNN, Clustering, Time series forecasting).
• Experience in working with Model Governance teams.
• Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, clustering analysis, inferential statistics, data mining and anomaly detection techniques.
• Excellent communication and partnering skills, ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment, ability to research issues/problems and provide a \'solution-based\' approach.
