The Financial Accountant will be responsible for recording, analyzing, and reporting the project-wise and company's financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, tracking project-level accounting, and ensuring timely reporting to support decision-making across the company's real estate development operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (IAS) and company policies.
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements on a project level and company level basis.
Track and reconcile project-specific costs (land acquisition, construction, financing, overhead) to ensure budgetary control.
Assist with financial modeling and reporting for real estate projects, including project profitability and ROI analyses.
Support management with variance analysis, financial forecasts, and ad-hoc reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, MBA or equivalent preferred).
2-5 years of experience
in accounting, preferably in real estate development, construction, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of IAS, real estate accounting practices, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Excel (MS Power Point preferred).
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
