Experience:

5-6 years (Must have worked in startups or dynamic environments)

Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (CA Inter/MBA Finance is a plus but not mandatory).

hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth company.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Excel/Google Sheets.

Excellent communication and coordination skills -- able to liaise independently with auditors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Daily Accounting Operations

:

o Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounting entries across payables, receivables, banking, and general ledger.

o Manage and reconcile bank accounts, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and statutory dues (GST, TDS, etc.).

Audit Coordination and Compliance

:

o Collaborate with auditors, CFO, and internal teams to support timely closure of audits and compliance processes.

o Prepare and organize necessary documentation for statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reviews.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

:

o Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and ad hoc financial analysis as required by the management.

o Support the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Process Adherence and Improvement

:

o Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance guidelines.

o Proactively identify and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
