About the Role:



We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in the core functions of a fast-paced fintech/NBFC. You will receive structured training and mentorship across key areas including finance, accounting, loan operations, and compliance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong foundation in accounting principles, and is excited to build a career in the financial technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:



Under the guidance of our finance and operations team, you will learn and assist with:

1. Finance & Accounting Support:



Assist with preparing and posting accounting entries in Tally. Support the team in the monthly TDS calculation and return filing process. Learn and aid in GST working, reconciliation, and the preparation of returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Help prepare schedules and documentation for statutory and internal audits.

2. Loan Operations & Disbursement Support:

Learn the end-to-end loan disbursement process by coordinating with the operations team. Assist in ensuring compliance checks are completed accurately before disbursement. Support the team in maintaining accurate records of all loan-related transactions.

3. Reconciliation & Refund Processing:

Support the daily and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and customer ledgers. Learn to identify discrepancies and work with the team to resolve them. Assist in processing customer refunds, chargebacks, and loan foreclosures.

4. MIS & Reporting Support:

Help in the compilation and preparation of monthly MIS reports and AUM summaries. Learn to track and report on key financial metrics.

Qualifications:

Candidates pursuing B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter / CMA (Training) are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills:



Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (debit/credit, ledger management). Keen interest in learning about TDS, GST, and other compliance areas. Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas) and a willingness to learn Tally. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
