: Team Lead - Finance

About Zouk : Zouk is a proudly 100% vegan and cruelty-free lifestyle brand, building a strong presence across D2C, e-commerce marketplaces, and offline retail. As we scale rapidly, we are strengthening our finance function to drive growth, efficiency, and governance. This role will be pivotal in shaping our finance backbone while supporting business expansion.

Key Responsibilities :

- Audit & Compliance o Drive timely closure of statutory, tax, and internal audits.

Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other applicable laws. o
- Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements and statutory disclosures. Process & Controls o Design and implement robust internal controls across D2C, e-commerce, and offline retail channels.

Identify process gaps and lead efficiency and risk-mitigation initiatives. Draft, roll out, and enforce SOPs to standardize finance and business practices. Banking, Treasury & Payments o Oversee banking operations, vendor payments, and treasury management. Manage banking relationships and ensure smooth documentation and compliance. o Drive fund management, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization. Team & Stakeholder Management Mentor and guide junior finance team members, building a culture of ownership and excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, operations, legal) to strengthen financial governance. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for decision making.
Qualifications & Skills

Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory, with 3+ years of post-qualification experience. Prior experience with a Big 10 audit firm or reputed top-tier firm preferred. Exposure to both manufacturing and e-commerce sectors is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and Indian regulatory frameworks. Hands-on expertise in statutory audit, internal audit, compliance, and controllership. o Proven track record in preparing and finalizing financial statements. Experience with process improvement, SOP roll-outs, and control implementation. Skilled in banking operations, treasury, vendor management, and compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as Zoho, Tally, or equivalents. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
