finance domain expertise

, ensuring our ERP remains compliant, scalable, and ahead of industry and statutory changes.
The ideal candidate will be a
Chartered Accountant (CA)
with hands-on experience in
financial systems
,
taxation frameworks
, and a working understanding of
SQL, APIs.
Exposure to
AI/LLM technologies
for financial automation or reporting is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Product Ownership
Own the
finance, accounting, and compliance modules
of the ERP -- including Accounts Payable, Receivable, General Ledger, Costing, Budgeting, and Audit trails.
Translate financial workflows and statutory requirements into scalable, configurable product features.
Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure intuitive user flows for finance operations.
Define and maintain product roadmap for finance-related functionalities.
Statutory & Compliance Management
Continuously monitor and implement
statutory updates
-- Income Tax, GST, TDS, RERA, and other regulatory changes affecting the real estate domain.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all updates are reflected promptly in the ERP workflows and reports.
Design automated validation and filing mechanisms to reduce compliance risks.
Conduct UAT for financial and statutory updates before release.
Functional & Technical Collaboration
Act as the
bridge between finance teams and developers
-- translating business needs into clear, detailed functional and technical specifications.
Collaborate with AI/LLM engineers to design smart assistants, automated reconciliations, or predictive insights for finance teams.
Client Interaction & Support
Handle
client finance-related queries
from a product functionality perspective (not just support).
Train internal and client teams on new financial features, compliance changes, and best practices.
Gather client feedback to continuously improve finance module usability and accuracy.
Innovation & Automation
Identify opportunities to
automate finance workflows
using AI or LLMs -- e.g., intelligent document extraction, auto-reconciliation, or financial anomaly detection.
Explore and recommend emerging tools and APIs to enhance ERP financial capabilities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background
Chartered Accountant (CA)
- mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
(Bonus) Additional technical education or certification in Computer Science, MIS, or Product Management.
Experience
3-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, ERP implementation, or product management.
Prior exposure to
ERP or SaaS platforms
(preferably in real estate, construction, or enterprise software).
Strong understanding of
Indian taxation frameworks

Experience collaborating with engineering teams on
finance module design or system integrations

Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a finance-first mindset.
Excellent communication skills -- able to translate between finance and tech teams.
Meticulous attention to detail, especially in compliance and reporting workflows.
Proactive in staying updated on finance and regulatory changes.
