Position Overview

The

Finance Operations Associate

will support the day-to-day financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all operational finance functions. This role involves managing vendor payments, reconciliation, documentation for trade transactions, and assisting with monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of handling multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounts & Payments Management

Process and track

vendor invoices, supplier payments, and petty cash transactions

. Ensure timely

recording of expenses, advances, and reimbursements

. Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to verify supporting documents before disbursement. Assist in

bank reconciliations

and ensure all transactions are accurately posted.

2. Financial Reporting & Recordkeeping

Support the preparation of

daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports

. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all

financial documents, vouchers, and invoices

. Assist in preparing schedules for

statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews

. Help track

receivables and payables

, ensuring accurate ageing reports.

3. Trade & Treasury Coordination

Support documentation for

import/export payments, LC settlements, and forex transactions

. Liaise with banks for transaction queries, fund transfers, and remittance confirmations. Monitor working capital utilization and assist in

cash flow forecasting

.

4. Process Improvement & Compliance

Identify opportunities for improving

efficiency and automation

in financial operations. Ensure compliance with

GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations

under the guidance of the finance team. Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in handling company financial information.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of

accounting principles and financial processes

. Proficiency in

Excel, Tally, and ERP systems

. Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to task management. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

(Master's preferred). 1-3 years of experience in

finance, accounts, or operations

, preferably in import/export or FMCG sectors. Knowledge of

GST, TDS, and basic trade finance

will be an advantage.
