The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial health, ensuring effective fund management, maximizing returns on investments, and supporting the company and directors in financial scaling and long-term growth. This role involves managing liquidity, analyzing financial risks and opportunities, and aligning financial strategies with the company's vision for sustainable expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Management & Parking
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
Strategically park surplus funds in secure and high-yield avenues.
Optimize treasury operations to balance safety, liquidity, and returns.
Investments & Returns
Identify suitable short-term and long-term investment opportunities.
Evaluate risk-adjusted returns on investments and ensure profitability.
Develop strategies for maximizing ROI while minimizing financial risks.
Financial Scaling & Growth
Assist directors in financial planning for expansion and scaling operations.
Create financial models and projections to guide business growth.
Recommend capital structuring, funding sources, and cost optimization measures.
Strategic Financial Advisory
Provide insights on financial feasibility for new projects and ventures.
Advise management on risk management, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Support long-term financial sustainability and business diversification.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare periodic MIS reports, investment performance analysis, and variance reports.
Present financial insights to directors for decision-making.
Ensure transparency and accountability in financial dealings.
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CA/MBA preferred).
Proven experience (5-10 years) in fund management, corporate finance, or investment management.
Strong knowledge of financial instruments, markets, and risk management.
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
High integrity with strong communication and advisory skills for working with directors and stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
