Job Description

FINANCE MANAGER:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring effective budgeting, cost control, and compliance with statutory requirements. This role involves financial planning, monitoring cash flow, managing project finances, and providing accurate reports to support management decision-making. The Finance Manager works closely with project, procurement, and accounts teams to ensure financial discipline across all projects, optimize resource utilization, and maintain healthy financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Manage General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledger reconciliations (including bank, debtors, creditors and interdepartmental accounts). Manage the issuing, recording, replenishment, safeguarding, and accounting of petty cash. Initiate cost control measures to improve financial performance. Providing accurate financial reports to management Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with government regulations Preparing, analyzing budgets and forecasting future performance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS), taxation, and corporate laws Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management Proficiency in accounting and ERP software Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities High level of integrity and attention to detail

Eligibility Criteria

Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounts Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role preferred Experience in [manufacturing/trading/services - customize if required] industry is an advantage.
