Job Description

A Leading Manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, cost control, and MIS reporting while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly/quarterly closing.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Implement strong internal controls and audit practices.
Work with auditors for statutory, internal, and cost audits.
Oversee costing of raw materials, production, and finished goods relevant to food processing.
Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Manage banking operations, vendor payments, and financial risk assessments.
Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team for high performance.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, and tax compliance.
Experience in food processing / FMCG / manufacturing finance.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar).
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of costing methods specific to food industry (batch costing, process costing, wastage management, etc.).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Attention to detail with ability to work under deadlines.
