Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified

Finance Manager / Senior Manager

to join our finance team in the

Metal Trading

industry. The ideal candidate will be a

qualified Chartered Accountant

with a minimum of

10 years

of relevant experience in

core accounting, GST compliance, and treasury management

. The role demands strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of financial regulations, and hands-on experience managing complex finance operations in a trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:1. Core Accounting & Financial Management

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll. Finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts as per applicable standards (Ind AS/IFRS). Ensure timely closure of books and preparation of financial statements. Manage audits - statutory, internal, and tax audits.

2. GST & Compliance

Handle all aspects of

GST

, including returns, reconciliations, input credit management, and compliance. Ensure timely filing and adherence to indirect tax regulations. Liaise with consultants and government authorities for tax assessments and notices.

3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Monitor and manage company's daily cash flows and working capital requirements. Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for fund management, BG/LCs, and forex transactions. Optimize treasury processes and minimize interest costs through better fund allocation.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Provide strategic recommendations to the management on financial planning.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

Key Skills Required:

Core Accounting and Financial Reporting Indirect Taxation - GST (Strong working knowledge) Treasury & Cash Flow Management Budgeting & Forecasting Team Management Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle preferred) Strong communication and leadership skills
