Role Summary



The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the organization, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, and internal controls. The role provides strategic financial insights to support business growth and ensure financial stability.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee end-to-end accounting and ensure compliance with

Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI

, and other statutory requirements. Prepare and review accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis. Manage cash flow, working capital, OD limits, and fund utilization. Develop financial models, MIS reports, dashboards, and strategic financial insights. Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and cost control systems. Analyze financial performance, profitability, and cash conversion cycle. Support management in capital budgeting, funding decisions, asset acquisition, and expansion planning. Ensure effective functioning of ERP/Tally systems and coordinate enhancements. Lead, train, and supervise the finance team to ensure high performance. Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.

Required Experience



Minimum 8 - 10 years

of experience in accounting, finance, and budgeting.

Minimum 3 years

in a managerial/supervisory role.

Hands-on experience in Indian Accounts & Statutory Compliance - Mandatory.

Retail industry experience - Mandatory.

Experience with Tally/ERP and financial reporting tools is essential.

Qualifications



MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent. Additional certifications in Finance, Taxation, or ERP preferred.

Key Skills



Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings. Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems. Strong analytical, budgeting, and financial modelling skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making ability. Solid understanding of banking and fund management.
