Job Description

The Manager - Finance & Administration will be responsible for overseeing financial management, compliance, reporting, and administrative operations at Nayi Disha. The role requires expertise in FCRA and FUR regulations, ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards applicable to Indian NGOs. The candidate will work closely with leadership to streamline financial operations, optimize resource allocation, and enhance administrative efficiencies.

Financial Management



Oversee the financial operations of the NGO, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the availability of funds for ongoing and upcoming projects. Supervise day-to-day accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and all financial transactions. Collaborate with project teams to align financial planning with project goals.

FCRA G Compliance



Manage FCRA-related financial operations and ensure compliance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act. Ensure timely and accurate filing of FCRA returns and compliance with all statutory regulations, including reporting to the Ministry. Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure all audits are completed in line with statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with Income Tax Act, GST, and other applicable financial regulations for NGOs in India.

Donor Reporting & Fund Management:



Prepare and submit donor financial reports as per grant agreements. Ensure effective fund tracking and reporting mechanisms. Handle reimbursements, payroll processing, and vendor payments on time.

Administrative Oversight:



Oversee office administration, procurement, and vendor management. Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations, including HR support for payroll and compliance. Manage statutory filings, registrations, and licenses required for NGO operations. Conduct regular training on financial policies, statutory compliance, and operational best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of financial and administrative tasks.

Desired Profile Knowledge



Chartered Accountant (CA) / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com.

Specific Skills



Strong understanding of FCRA, FUR, and financial compliance for Indian NGOs. Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and fund utilization. Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools. Knowledge of grant management and donor reporting.

Experience



5+ years (with at least 3 years' experience within an NGO or social sector organization. Experience in handling statutory audits and financial reporting for non-profits. Prior experience working with donor-funded projects and grant management is an advantage.

Language

: English and Hindi is a must and additional local languages like Marathi and Telugu would be added advantage

Note



It is mandatory for the candidate to visit the Hyderabad office once every six months for a duration of 5 days. Additionally, the candidate may be required to travel to the office as needed for work-related purposes.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
