Title: Finance Manager

Location: APAC

The Finance Manager assists the Director Finance with managing and coordinating day-to-day financial activities of the Finance Department. This position leads, directs, and develops Finance Department staff and supports the Director of Finance with corporate financial activities and projects as directed.

Supervises finance functions related to operations in the region

May assist with the month-end close, US reporting and consolidation adjustment process to ensure effectiveness & timelines for reporting are achieved.

Handle and fulfill Company secretarial requirements as per local requirements & timelines. Coordinate and review work performed by the accounting team.

Leads and motivates department staff to achieve fullest potential.

Responds with a sense of urgency to any request or issue; provides information and/or resolution in an expeditious manner.

Responds effectively to very sensitive inquiries and complaints. Creates detailed spreadsheets to convey teams performance

Writes reports, business correspondence, procedural manuals and other necessary documentations. Analyzes impact of decisions before recommendations, necessary approvals and execution.

Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.

Represents the company in a professional manner. Trustworthy and maintains extreme confidentiality.

Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking ability.

Individual is a self-starter, works with minimum supervision, and makes good independent judgments. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.

Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and practices.

Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.

Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skills.

Ability and/or experience to develop and maintain a productive work team by hiring, training and coaching qualified personnel.

Demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others. Ability to set and track goals.

Ability and/or experience to read, analyze and interpret government rules and regulations, technical journals, financial reports and legal documents, and communicates findings with management effectively.

Ability and/or experience to write reports, business correspondence, articles and presentations. Ability and/or experience to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers.

PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment with an advanced knowledge of Excel and

PowerPoint preferred. ...
