The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis activities. The role ensures strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, cost control, and strategic financial decision-making to support business growth and profitability.
Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Analyze financial performance and variances against budget.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
2. Financial Reporting
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes.
Prepare and present financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
3. Accounting & Compliance
Ensure proper maintenance of financial accounts and general ledger.
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and tax functions.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
Liaise with auditors (internal & external) for smooth audit processes.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor daily cash flow and working capital needs.
Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and treasury operations.
Optimize cost of capital and financial risk management.
5. Cost Control & Operational Support
Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving strategies.
Support procurement, operations, and project teams with financial insights.
Evaluate investment proposals and conduct ROI analysis.
6. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff.
Develop SOPs and strengthen internal financial controls.
Foster a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
MBA (Finance), CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Experience
5-10+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles.
Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a plus.
Industry-specific experience helpful but not mandatory.
Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, MS Excel, Power BI).
