Finance Manager - Climate Tech Company - Mumbai
Job Summary: A leading Climate Tech and Proptech company is keen to hire a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with atleast 4+ years of experience post articleship, for the role of Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of junior executives and assist in financial reporting, overseeing the books of accounts, tax compliances, and financial analysis.

The company develops wireless control systems and AI-driven technologies that enable energy-efficient, intelligent, and low-carbon buildings. With almost 7 years in business and a team of over 100 members, their clientele includes leading corporates and real estate companies.

Designation: Finance Manager
Reports To: Finance Controller
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow.
• Monthly Sales Invoicing with verification of all details with BOQ, PO and respective consumption.
• Preparation of monthly stock movement report including Opening, Inward, Outward and Consumption.
• Debtors Reconciliation.
• Preparation of Cash Flow report daily.
• Assist in managing daily cash flow and liquidity requirements.
• Handle bank transactions, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
• Monitor project wise inflows and outflows and prepare daily/weekly cash flow reports.
• Coordinate with auditors and support in drafting audit schedules.
• Oversee tax compliances including GST, TDS, etc.
• Preparation of Project P&L with respect to projected vs actual achievement.
• Manage a team of 3-4 junior finance executives.
• Assist FC in analysis and managing the finance team.

Requirements:

• Sem- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4+yrs of experience
• Experience in accounting, treasury and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and audits.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally ERP software, and financial analysis.
• Preferable exposure to manufacturing, EPC environments.
• Comfort with startup pace, ambiguity, team management and cross-functional collaboration.

Education: Semi Qualified CA
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing / EPC environment
Working days: Monday to Friday
