The department is part of the CONTROLLING AND FINANCE global team with the main focus to optimize business processes using standard process and use IT as key tools to add value to the organization. The aim is to increase efficiency in the financial reporting processes and applications for Siemens which operates the world over. Clients/Business Partners are global Head Quarter Functions in Germany as well as similar functions which operate throughout the worldwide organization.

You'll make a difference by:



CF R 5 4 is responsible for standardizing and ensuring quality in the value flow of ERP systems. We specify requirements and design solutions for accounting processes in ERP systems with Siemens-wide relevance. A key component for Siemens' accounting processes includes the RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) process, as well as integration with the value flow from logistics. As part of this responsibility, a transformation project named SHERPA X has been initiated to develop and roll out a uniform financial solution based on SAP S/4HANA technology. You can become part of the expert team that handles all aspects of accounting and controlling relevant to Siemens and defines the future standard of process mapping in SAP S/4HANA systems at the end-to-end process level. Act as the primary contact for SAP RAR, consolidating business requirements and translating them into end?to?end process designs with seamless integration to SD and external system. Lead a sub-RAR team in the Governance Foundation Revenue Recognition team. Represent the "business" end-user in the project, define requirements, and create user stories with your team for other teams. Safeguard compliance with IFRS15 accounting standards and Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines. Decide on functionality to be included in the product and its prioritization, thus managing the "product backlog" defined by Agile. Responsible for implementing, further developing, and changing tools and processes in your area of responsibility. Facilitate cross?stream coordination and information flow in L2C process (Lead to Cash) and with testing team.

Your success is grounded in:



A degree in business studies or alternatively, solid practical knowledge in accounting and including representation in ERP systems. Experience in a leading role in an S/4HANA implementation project. Experience across multiple SAP RAR implementations. Knowledge of IFRS 15, Siemens financial processes, and reporting guidelines. Experience with internal processes at a multinational company like Siemens. Extensive operational professional experience. Technical understanding of S/4HANA and its capabilities and functionalities in areas such as CO (Controlling) - as RAR, Margin Analysis, Predictive Accounting, SD (Sales & Distribution). Strong communication skills in English, confident and assertive; additional languages, such as German, are advantageous. Ability to develop and articulate concepts in English that are understood by both business users and IT. Experience with tool-supported project management and agile working methods. Experience working with international teams and international management.
