The Finance Manager will lead the company's finance, accounting, statutory compliance, and corporate secretarial functions. The role requires strong command over financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, statutory audits, treasury, fundraising readiness, and regulatory filings. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with Company Secretary (CS) ensuring both financial governance and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll, banking, asset registers).
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and monthly MIS dashboards.
Implement and improve accounting systems, controls, and internal processes.
Ensure adherence to Ind-AS / Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and audit requirements.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A
Develop annual operating budgets and rolling financial forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis (Budget vs Actual) and provide actionable insights.
Build cost models and pricing support for business verticals.
Create multi-year financial projections for strategic planning.
3. Audit, Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits end-to-end.
Manage direct & indirect tax filings (TDS, GST, Income Tax, etc.).
Ensure compliance under Companies Act 2013, SEBI (if applicable), and MCA filings.
Interface with auditors, regulators, consultants, and authorities.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Monitor working capital cycles, AR/collections, cash flow, and liquidity.
Manage banking relationships, credit lines, and treasury operations
Prepare cash flow forecasts and optimize capital deployment.
5. Fundraising Support & Investor Readiness
Prepare investor pitch financials, data-room documentation, and financial models.
Support fundraising activities--equity, debt, and structured instruments.
Manage due diligence processes (financial, legal, compliance, tax).
Prepare board packs, cap tables, valuation data, and investor MIS.
6. Corporate Secretarial & Governance (CS Duties)
Handle ROC filings, board & shareholder meeting documentation, minutes, resolutions.
Maintain statutory registers as per Companies Act & secretarial standards.

Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) -- mandatory
Company Secretary (CS) -- mandatory
Experience:
5-10 years of post-qualification experience in finance & compliance roles.
Exposure to fundraising, audit management, and corporate secretarial preferred.
Experience in manufacturing / tech / medical devices / multi-entity environments is an added plus.
