Job Description

ComAp is looking for a qualified Finance Manager.

We are looking for qualified accountant with attention to detail to join our office in New Delhi, India.

The purpose of the role will be to perform professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. The role will cooperate on audits and contribute to ensure accounting & tax compliance at both a local and global level.

The Finance Manager needs to use their developed knowledge and skills to prepare and present monthly financial statements and accompanying financial commentary. They will work closely with the India MD and APAC Regional Director/Accountant in preparing monthly consolidated APAC results along with quarterly regional forecasts and the annual regional Business Plan.

Your daily work will include the following:

  • Processing of invoices received, ensuring the approvals of substance and formal accuracy, completeness with delivery receipts, posting of bank statements, matching received payments to accounts receivables, matching of paid invoices, checking of correctness of standard purchase orders, perform petty cash transaction, invoice recharges within the Group, posting of documents to ERP and similar accounting activities.
  • Perform independent accounting for ledgers and preparation of journal entries and checking supporting entries. Contributes to accuracy and soundness of accounting and tax compliance. Carry out independently well-defined steps in cost accounting.
  • Prepare supporting documents/returns for government, auditors, employees and other internal & external customers as required.
  • Perform dunning process to collect overdue receivables.
  • Manage and process the company's payroll (and related on-costs) inhouse and source a suitable software program to administer
  • Participate on implementation & improvements of ERP system, perform testing, write working instructions, supporting the Key User.
What we expect from you:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Commerce
  • Knowledge of accounting, self-organized, ability to work independently, keep deadlines, problem solver with due care, eye for detail
  • Minimum 10 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Advanced understanding of both Hindi and English
  • Knowledge of company secretary work will be an added advantage
