Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. Responsibilities To handle full set of book-keeping and compliance with local laws and regulations for Meishi Pharma Services Private Limited. Liaise with external accounting team on completion of full set of accounts - AP, AR, fixed assets, GL and trial balance for the India entity To support the SAP implementation Monitor the progress of R&D lab erection in India Treasury function - to ensure all payment entries and payment cycle are done in timely and accurate manner and perform monthly cash flow projection Support timely delivery of financial accounting and tax reporting activities, including but not limited to: month end and year end closing activities, financial statements review, cash flow reporting, VAT filing and corporate tax returns Facilitate completion of annual statutory audit and facilitate communication with statutory auditors, stakeholders Create monthly and annual reports to identify results and trends for group reporting purpose Support finance related and system enhancement, if required Establish and implement internal controls within the entity Support other ad hoc accounting activities Qualifications Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, CA or CPA is a plus At least 5 years of full sets of accounts experience Experience with SAP Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in English Core Competencies Goal-oriented, ability to work independently with limited supervision Possess strong analytical skill and attentive to details Positive attitude, have sense of ownership and responsibility Proactive team player, working collaboratively with colleagues across region Self-motivated with the ability to drive own initiatives
