Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic

Chartered Accountant or CA Inter

candidate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to financial reporting, audits, taxation, GST & TDS filing, compliance, and management reporting, along with a strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and GST/Income Tax laws. Some exposure to Transfer Pricing & International Taxation is optional but advantageous. This role will support the CEO in ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and actionable insights for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and finalize financial statements as per Ind-AS/IFRS Manage month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Audit & Internal Controls

Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors Strengthen internal financial controls (IFC) and resolve audit observations Implement preventive measures for error/fraud risks

Taxation & Regulatory

Oversee GST, TDS, and Income Tax filings Support in handling tax assessments, audits, and reconciliations Keep updated on changes in taxation and company law

Management Reporting & MIS

Prepare monthly MIS, budget vs. actuals, and variance analysis Provide financial insights to management for strategic decisions Highlight cost-saving and efficiency opportunities

Cash Flow & Working Capital

Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital cycles Assist in cash flow forecasting and treasury operations Support CEO in managing liquidity and optimizing financing needs

Business Partnering & Support

Collaborate with business teams to provide financial inputs Support CEO in strategic projects, fundraising, or investor reporting Translate financial data into actionable business recommendations

Key Result Areas (KRA)

Timely and accurate statutory compliance (zero penalties) Clean audit reports with minimal observations Closure of books within defined timelines High-quality MIS reports with actionable insights Improved working capital efficiency (DSO/DPO/DIO) Contribution to cost optimization and profitability improvement

Required Skills & Competencies

For CA:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years PQE Strong knowledge of Ind-AS, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act Experience in financial reporting, audits, and compliance

For CA Inter:

CA Inter qualified with 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance & accounts Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and financial reporting Hands-on experience in audit support and compliance

Common Requirements:

Hands-on with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar) Advanced Excel & financial modeling skills; familiarity with Power BI a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ethical, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving improvements
