Background

The Change Programme team sits within the Fuel for Growth global team (one of Unilever's 5 Growth Fundamentals) spearheading Unilever's search for 'fuel' to boost growth along with global stakeholders (Global Performance Management, BG Performance Management, Supply Chain Finance, CD Finance, etc)

Fuel for Growth comprises 5 key initiatives, targeted with delivering EUR2.8bn of savings in 2022. The initiatives include 5s, Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB), restructuring programs - (i) Future Fit Operations, (ii) Change Programme Overheads, and (iii) Supply Chain Transformation - and NRM.

The role of the Fuel for Growth Finance Manager is to coordinate the F4G program

This is a high visibility role reporting into the Finance Director F4G, and directly working with Global Performance Management, BG Performance directors, global CD team and SC teams.

Key Requirements of the Role

End to end reporting of F4G Savings program: accountable for running monthly governance to monitor and manage the state of health on key operational metrics, identify hot spots and drive corrective actions.

Ensure governance and bankability of savings reported by partnering with functional experts

Handling End to End analytical tools like F4G Engine, One Stop Shop (BMI metrics) and Savings Traceability

Strong Analytical capability with numerical ability

Deep understanding of business and ability to visualise activity in market, Customer oriented mind-set

Good oral & written communication skills, Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task

Ability to build effective relationships across different language/cultural and organisational styles

Ability to work with a diverse virtual team

I-Finance & Cost Control Cube (operational knowledge) and Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - MS Excel and PowerPoint
