Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented
Finance Manager
to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate must be a
qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
with a strong background in financial planning, project accounting, budgeting, and compliance within the construction or infrastructure domain.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop and maintain detailed project budgets and forecasts.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior management.
2. Project Accounting:
Monitor and control project costs and ensure alignment with budgets.
Work closely with project teams to manage billing, procurement, and vendor payments.
Reconcile project accounts and prepare profitability reports.
3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
Manage daily cash flow and funding requirements for ongoing projects.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities, overdrafts, and working capital management.
Optimize cash utilization and implement effective fund management strategies.
4. Compliance & Taxation:
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and accounting standards.
5. Internal Controls & Risk Management:
Establish and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
6. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability and performance.
Ensure continuous development and upskilling of team members.
Key Requirements:
Qualified
Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Mandatory.
Minimum
7 years of post-qualification experience
, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or real estate industry.
Proficient in
project-based accounting
and
cost control
.
Sound knowledge of
GST, direct taxation, and regulatory compliance
.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with
ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally)
is preferred.
Proven ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
