Requirements
Required Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (professional accounting degree is mandatory).
  • 9-16 years of experience in Banking, Broker-Dealer, Fintech, or Crypto Exchange industries, with direct exposure to trading divisions and digital asset operations.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end deliverables of Legal Entities and Transfer Pricing arrangements, including intercompany crypto asset transfers.
  • Expert knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards, with practical application to digital assets.
  • Hands-on ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP); familiarity with crypto accounting software (Bitwave, SoftLedger, Ledgible) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of full trade flow (Settlement, Market-making, Clearing) for both fiat and crypto instruments.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with blockchain explorers, wallet reconciliation, and on-chain data analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Passionate about continuous learning in fintech, blockchain, DeFi, and digital asset regulation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting in compliance with US GAAP, IndAS, or IFRS, including crypto asset accounting (IAS 38, IFRS 9, ASC 350, ASC 820).
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, covering valuation, impairment, and disclosures for digital assets and tokens.
  • Lead consolidation of entities for quarterly and annual group results, including crypto-related subsidiaries or trading desks.
  • Address complex technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition, consolidation, stock options, business combinations, MTM accounting, and crypto transactions.
  • Manage legal entity reporting, accounting, and compliance across jurisdictions, including tax treatment and regulatory requirements (FATF, VASP, or local crypto guidelines).
  • Oversee intercompany balances, settlements, and transfer pricing, including crypto asset valuations and transfers.
  • Support trade operations and settlement teams by performing reconciliations and attestation procedures across fiat and crypto transactions.
  • Establish and maintain processes, policies, procedures, and internal controls tailored for blockchain-based transactions and custody arrangements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, audit committees, and internal teams to support audits involving crypto holdings, wallets, and blockchain transaction trails.
  • Operate ERP systems integrated with crypto accounting and blockchain aggregation tools to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
