About the internship
Key responsibilities:
1. Understanding and analyzing different investment asset classes such as equities, mutual funds, bonds, and private equity
2. Understanding different types of investment structures in the US (custodians, banks, etc.)
3. Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with US GAAP accounting standards
4. Perform regular reconciliation of accounting statements, ensure consistency and accuracy between software\'s record and financial statements
5. Generate and distribute financial reports to clients, highlighting their portfolio performance, investment summaries, and other relevant information
6. Working with clients on usage of the system. Understanding issues on the system and ensuring these are filed and tracked for resolution
7. On the feet problem identification and resolving w.r.t internal and external issues in the system

1. Basic investment and accounting knowledge
2. Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
3. Highly proactive in approach
4. Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
5. Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
6. The ability to work independently
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting
with all levels of management
