We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support the Finance and
Accounts Department in day-to-day operations, reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal
candidate should possess a strong foundational understanding of accounting principles, excellent
analytical skills, and the ability to work with accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Internship Duration: 3 to 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
Support general accounting functions, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and upkeep of
financial records.
Demonstrated experience in invoice preparation, e-invoicing, or strong knowledge of invoicing
processes.
Assist in preparing financial statements such as Cash Flow Statements, Profit & Loss Statements,
Balance Sheet summaries, and MIS reports.
Contribute to budget preparation, expense tracking, and financial monitoring activities.
Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/client reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal financial controls, and statutory
requirements.
Provide support in GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and other statutory compliances.
Assist in responding to Mystery Audit Department queries, preparing working papers, and
coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.
Draft accurate and timely financial documentation, schedules, and reports.
Maintain professional communication through email correspondence, documentation control, and
inter-department coordination.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and financial principles.
Knowledge of invoice processing, e-invoicing, and billing procedures.
Working or theoretical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other compliance frameworks.
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and capability to handle confidential information.
Good written and verbal communication skills, including email drafting and professional financial
correspondence.
Ability to manage time effectively, work under supervision, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Familiarity with accounting/ERP software (e.g., Tally) is an added advantage.
Minimum 3 months of experience in a Chartered Accountant firm is preferred.
