Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team to work on GST filing, TDS computation and compliance, and related accounting support. This role provides hands-on experience with statutory compliance and finance operations in a startup environment. Prior internship experience in GST filing and TDS compliance is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparation, reconciliation, and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Support GST input tax credit reconciliation and proper documentation maintenance. Compute, deduct, and facilitate TDS payment and filing of TDS returns. Maintain tax-related records and assist in audits and statutory compliance. Assist finance manager in monthly and yearly closing related to statutory filings. Use Tally ERP and Excel/Google Sheets for record keeping and report preparation. Coordinate with external consultants or Chartered Accountants as required. Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other tax laws to avoid penalties.

Qualifications

Completed degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory). Prior internship experience in GST filing, TDS computation, and statutory compliance is required. Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian tax compliance requirements. Familiarity with Tally ERP and proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
