Events Chakra is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic
Finance Intern
to support the finance and accounts team in managing day-to-day financial operations related to event execution. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to budgeting, vendor payments, invoicing, cost tracking, and basic financial reporting in the event management industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Support
Assist in maintaining daily financial records, expenses, and petty cash tracking
Support event-wise budgeting and cost allocation
Help track incoming and outgoing payments related to events
Assist in invoice generation for clients and verification of vendor bills
Vendor & Client Coordination
Support coordination with vendors for payment documentation and follow-ups
Assist in maintaining vendor payment schedules
Help reconcile vendor statements and bills
Accounting & Documentation
Maintain proper documentation of bills, invoices, receipts, and contracts
Assist in data entry in accounting software or Excel sheets
Support monthly expense reports and basic MIS preparation
Compliance & Process Support
Assist in GST-related documentation (basic level)
Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents
Follow internal finance processes and controls
Required Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed
B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) / MBA (Finance)
or equivalent
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in
MS Excel / Google Sheets
Good numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced event environment
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
