Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and long-term value.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor cost structures, optimize margins, and drive profitability initiatives across products, plants, and regions.
Oversee working capital, ensuring effective receivables, payables, and inventory management.
Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Ind AS/IFRS) and accurate reporting.
Manage internal, statutory, and tax audits, ensuring transparency and timely closure.
Build and maintain strong banking relationships; oversee funding, credit, and treasury operations.
Drive ERP adoption, automation, and digital transformation in the finance function.
Partner with sales, operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to provide actionable financial insights.
Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and innovation.
Establish risk management frameworks, internal controls, and compliance protocols.
Support strategic initiatives including CAPEX evaluation, plant expansion, and market entry.
Key Skills & Competencies
End-to-end finance leadership in manufacturing & corporate environments.
Strong knowledge of financial controls, tax laws, accounting standards, and audits.
Expertise in cost optimization across production, logistics, and distribution.
Commercial acumen with exposure to pricing, profitability, and expansion strategies.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in digital finance initiatives and process automation.
Qualification & Experience
CA (Chartered Accountant)
is mandatory; MBA in Finance is an added advantage.
12-15 years of progressive finance experience
, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in building materials, cement, paints, or related manufacturing industries.
Proven exposure to high-growth, multi-location operations, and distributor-driven sales models.
