Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and contribute to efficient financial management. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to handle petty cash responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions, including disbursements, reimbursements, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts under the guidance of senior finance staff.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts while verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain general ledger entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding payments as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a corporate environment.
Proven experience in handling petty cash and managing small-scale financial transactions.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong understanding of financial principles, bookkeeping, and tax regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
