Finance ExecutiveRole Overview:

We are looking for a

finance executive

to join Scribbld and work closely with the founder, HR, and business development teams. This role is crucial in driving financial planning, tracking, and projections to support business growth and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in an advertising or marketing agency, is highly detail-oriented, and can balance financial accuracy with strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial planning & projections

Prepare and maintain accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections. Build financial models and projections for new initiatives. Track key financial KPIs and provide regular updates to the founder and leadership team.

2. Reporting & analysis

Maintain and update MIS reports to track revenues, expenses, and profitability by department. Conduct variance analysis (budget vs actuals) and highlight insights for decision-making. Work on client-wise profitability analysis and suggest areas for optimization.

3. Operational finance

Coordinate with the accounts team for timely processing of payroll, stipends, reimbursements, and vendor payments. Manage client contracts, invoicing, and follow-ups for receivables. Support in preparing financial documents for audits, taxation, and compliance.

4. Cross-functional collaboration

Work with the founder on strategic business planning and financial roadmaps. Partner with HR on manpower cost planning and payroll alignment. Support BD in creating pricing models, pitch budgets, and ROI calculations for clients.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience in an advertising/marketing agency (mandatory).

Education:

B.Com or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for financial modelling and reporting. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
