Elaf Rubber is a growing B2B organisation operating across the Middle East. As an evolving company, our processes, systems, and responsibilities are continuously maturing. This role is not limited to traditional accounting alone and will suit someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, adapting to changing needs, and contributing beyond a fixed job description.
This position is ideal for a finance professional who values flexibility, understands that growth-stage organisations require hands-on involvement, and is interested in building strong financial foundations over time.
Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Compliance
Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with UAE regulations
Manage UAE VAT compliance:
VAT returns and reconciliation
Supporting VAT audits and clarifications
Ensure financial records are compliant, organized, and audit-ready
Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Invoicing, Billing & Operational Finance
Prepare and manage quotes, invoices, and credit notes
Track receivables and support collections follow-up
Coordinate with operations and sales teams on billing accuracy
Support payroll processing and related reconciliations (where applicable)
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports
Assist with margin analysis, cost tracking, and profitability insights
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Provide financial inputs to management for decision-making
Systems & Process Support
Work with multiple accounting systems and tools
Preferably manage accounting processes in Odoo
Support system clean-ups, data accuracy, and process improvements
Assist in documenting and standardising finance processes as the company grows
Flexibility & Cross-Functional Support
Take ownership of additional finance or operational tasks as required
Support evolving business needs beyond core accounting
Collaborate closely with management, operations, and external partners
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-6+ years of accounting/finance experience
Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance
Experience handling invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting
Comfortable working independently in a remote setup
High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience using Odoo Accounting / ERP
Exposure to multiple accounting systems or process transitions
Experience or strong interest in financial analysis and planning
Experience supporting payroll or operational finance tasks
CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA (completed or in progress)
