Job Summary
We are looking for a
Senior Accounts & Compliance Executive
with strong managerial skills and the drive to grow with a fast-scaling startup. In this role, you will oversee statutory filings, manage compliance across multiple areas including Companies Act, Income Tax, TDS, and GST, and support the preparation of financial statements.

who are ambitious, leadership-oriented, and eager to take on increasing responsibility in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key client contact for statutory filings, compliance matters, and financial statement preparation.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory forms, returns, and compliance requirements with ROC, Income Tax, and GST authorities.
Stay updated on amendments and regulatory changes in the Companies Act, Income Tax, TDS, GST, and related laws.
Prepare and review financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
Lead TDS compliance including deductions, payments, reconciliations, and return filings.
Oversee GST filing, reconciliation, and client support for monthly/quarterly compliance.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation for financial and compliance activities.
Work closely with founders and internal teams to resolve compliance issues and improve operational efficiency.
Take ownership of process improvements for accounting, compliance, and internal controls.
Support clients with incorporation, licensing, regulatory registrations, and post-incorporation compliance.
Manage and guide junior team members
, assign tasks, review work, and ensure quality output.
Contribute actively to
building and scaling finance processes in a startup environment
.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-4 years of experience
in accounting, statutory filings, and compliance.
Strong understanding of Companies Act, Income Tax, TDS, GST, and financial reporting standards.
Experience managing or mentoring junior team members (preferred).
Strong proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar accounting tools.
Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of tasks.
High professional integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to client service.
A growth mindset willingness to
build processes from scratch
and contribute to scaling the startup.
