: Finance Executive - Audit & Compliance

Position Title: Finance Executive - Audit & Compliance

Department: Finance

Location: Mumbai,Borivali w

Reports To: Finance Manager / Compliance Head

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and executing internal audits across departments.

Ensure timely compliance with statutory laws (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act).

Prepare and maintain documentation for audit trails and regulatory reviews.

Work with external auditors during statutory, tax, and secretarial audits.

Perform risk assessment and propose internal control improvements.

Track audit findings and ensure implementation of corrective actions.

Update finance and operations teams on regulatory changes.

Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance.

Key Skills:

Knowledge of internal audit methodologies and standards

Familiarity with Indian tax laws (or regional equivalents)

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (SAP, Tally, etc.)

Strong analytical and documentation skills

Understanding of internal controls and risk management

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, BBA, etc.)

Additional qualifications like CA Inter, CMA Inter, or CIA (preferred)

1-3 years of relevant experience in audit or compliance roles.
