Data accuracy, governance, and operational excellence are foundational to Broadridge's mission and long-term success.
Role Summary:
The Finance Data Operations Analyst / Engineer is responsible for managing and monitoring upstream Finance data interfaces into the enterprise data platform (Snowflake) and ensuring accurate, timely, and complete data feeds to downstream systems.
This role requires strong hands-on expertise to monitor production data pipelines, analyze failures and exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and resolve data issues independently while maintaining high standards of data integrity and operational stability.
The role acts as the first line of defense for Finance data operations, owning day-to-day monitoring, controls, incident resolution, and coordination with Level 2 IT support when required.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and monitor upstream Finance data interfaces feeding Snowflake and downstream consumer systems.
  • Monitor production data jobs, schedules, and workflows; proactively identify failures, exceptions, and data anomalies.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for data issues, reconciliation breaks, and job failures.
  • Resolve data issues within scope and escalate to Level 2 IT support with clear diagnostics, evidence, and impact assessment.
  • Ensure end-to-end data integrity, completeness, and accuracy across Finance data interfaces.
  • Establish, maintain, and execute runbooks and standard operating procedures for data processes.
  • Design, implement, and operate data quality checks and technical controls.
  • Validate, cleanse, and reconcile Finance data on a regular basis.
  • Produce and maintain operational metrics and dashboards covering job health, failures, SLAs, and data quality.
  • Support business users with day-to-day operational requests and Finance data queries.
  • Collaborate with upstream ERP teams and downstream system owners to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for performance optimization, automation, and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 4-6 years of experience in data operations, data engineering support, or data management roles.
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise-scale data platforms handling large volumes of Finance data.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with practical hands-on experience in Snowflake for querying, validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis.
  • Experience working with enterprise Finance source systems such as Oracle (EBS / Fusion), SAP (ECC / S/4HANA), or equivalent ERP platforms.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL pipelines (Snowflake, AWS S3, AWS Glue, or similar cloud technologies).
  • Experience with workload automation and scheduling tools such as Apache Airflow, Control-M, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, Cognos, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage production incidents independently in a high-volume, business-critical environment.
  • Solid understanding of Finance data domains (e.g., GL, AR, AP, Cash) to support effective root cause analysis.
  • Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and resolutions.
Why Join Us:
  • Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale, business-critical Finance data platforms
  • Exposure to modern cloud technologies, including Snowflake and advanced data ecosystems
  • High-impact roles with visibility across Finance, Technology, and senior leadership
  • Strong focus on permanent solutions, automation, and operational excellence
  • Collaborative culture that values ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Career growth opportunities within a global fintech organization
