Job Description

BNC has been mandated to recruit a Finance Controller (Manager Level) for one of our leading clients in the Refractory Industry, based in Rajgangpur, Odisha. This role involves plant financial control, month-end tracking, cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis--all within a dynamic production environment.

Position: Plant Finance Head / Financial Controller

Location: Rajgangpur, Odisha, India

Employment: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate month-end closing & detailed cost reviews (GL & cost center).

Analyze energy/volume variances vs. budget & forecast.

Perform root-cause analysis for raw material consumption.

Lead monthly & quarterly performance reporting.

Collaborate with Plant Heads, R&D, and cross-functional teams on financial variances.

Support auditors with data & explanations.

Drive budget preparation, forecasting, and BOM validation.

Hands-on SAP FI/CO experience preferred.

Requirements:

Qualification: CA / MBA Finance.

10+ years' relevant experience in Plant Finance / Manufacturing industries (Cement, Steel, etc.).

Strong exposure in Manufacturing Plant & having working knowledge of SAP

.

Strong in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis.

Skilled in SAP, MS Excel & financial modeling.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally and deliver under tight deadlines.
